'Incubators' is a series of found vintage terrariums in which small egg-like 'hairy eye balls' seem to nest and potentially hatch in an environment conducive for life and growth.  Also inspired by imagining what E.T.A. Hoffman's The Sandman 's secret boxes filled with stolen eyes would look like - The Sandman being the known tale of a madman stealing children's eyes at night after blinding them with sand.
