Roll
2021
'Roll' is a piece whose title - of the etymology meaning 'little wheel' - suggests the action or motion that its shape implies, an unsettling back and forth that speaks for the world's current unsteady and shifty situation. Made of cardboard collected from household materials, namely toilet rolls, this piece also speaks for the context in which it was made, the 2020 lockdown, which conditioned artists' way of making with the means at hand.

This is a collaboration with London Bronze Editions and can be purchased directly through their website.
