‘Log’, meaning both a chunk of wood and an official record of events, is a series of 34 portraits of sticks which act as a log of time and place while working at Casa Wabi. Sticks have been gathered from all 14 communities affiliated to the Foundation as well as collected from various spots at the residency itself. Painted once a day, each portrait is a meditative act of presence and is dated at the back, alongside the mention of the provenance of the stick.
